Dior and Chanel are also making masks against corona virus

Image
Luxury brand factories, which would have made new bags and clothing in the spring, have been turned into factories that make masks and medical gowns. Luxury brands seem to have rolled up their sleeves as the coronavirus spread in Europe and the U.S.  Artisans are working on masks at the workshop in Leedong, France, where Dior was making its brand Baby Dior. Photo Dior French luxury brand Dior posted on its social media account on Wednesday that its Atelier tailors were participating in the mask production process. The production of the mask, which began at the Baby Dior workshop in Leedong, France, was known for Dior's voluntary participation in overcoming the Korona crisis. In the post, Dior "manufactures masks for the precious people who work altruistically on the front for the time being." As of Tuesday, 57,780 confirmed patients were confirmed in France and 4,043 were killed. The shortage of medical supplies is becoming a reality as the number of p...

U.S. Great Depression-level job cuts because of corona virus

Image
The Financial Times (FT) reported on July 3 that the number of unemployed people in the U.S. has soared to the level during the Great Depression, causing the worldwide unemployment crisis caused by the Covid-19. ◇ U.S. application for 6.6 million unemployment benefits last week The U.S. Department of Labor announced Monday that about 6.6 million people applied for unemployment benefits last week.  It was a record increase, doubling from 3.3 million in the previous week.  Experts' expectations were also far higher. By state, California, Pennsylvania and New York were the first to apply.  From March 15 to the end, more than 10 million people applied for unemployment benefits.  This is the level of the Great Depression in the 1920s and 30s. The number of unemployed surged as many jobs were temporarily closed to prevent the spread of Covid-19, while some industries, such as aviation and tourism, were hit directly. On top of this, analysts say that the governm...

"U.S. Corona virus Control requires at least six weeks of curfew."

Image
Coronavirus infection (Covid-19) is spreading around the world and appears to be quiet on March 25 (local time) at West Village, Manhattan, New York. To control Covid-19 in the U.S., the curfew will have to last for more than six weeks, U.S. researchers said. Citing a research paper published in a scientific journal this week, the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong reported on Thursday that countries that have adopted aggressive intervention called "no going out" may lower the incidence rate in about three weeks, control the spread in one month and block it in 45 days. The researchers, the authors of the paper, defined aggressive intervention as containment, curfew, mass checkups and isolation. Less aggressive intervention can take much longer to get to the blockade. "If there is no vaccine, treatment, or mass check-ups and quarantine, containment and curfew orders will have to last for months," the researchers explained. Researchers are Gerard ...

"About half of Sweden's population will be infected with Corona virus within a month."

Image
By the end of this month, as many as five million people, or half of Sweden's population, could be infected with Covid-19. Tom Britton, a math professor at Stockholm University in Sweden, recently said, "According to a mathematical model, the number of Covid-19 infections in Sweden reached up to 5 million on the 30th of this month." With Europe now devastated by Covid-19, Sweden's government is receiving much attention for its unique way of dealing with the situation. This is because they are sticking to the so-called "herd immunity" method that does not restrict the people's right to move and keeps their daily lives intact. As is well known, most countries are now making all-out efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19, with containment policies such as restrictions on movement, closure and closure.  On the other hand, the Swedish government still allows the daily lives of the countrymen, although it recommends social distance keeping, tele...

Thirteen years old in Europe, U.S.A. Six weeks of baby death because of Coronavirus

Image
With a six-week-old baby dying of a new type of Covid-19 infection in the U.S., concerns are growing as a series of child deaths have already been confirmed in Europe.  King's College Hospital in London said in a statement the previous day that a 13-year-old boy who was being treated at a hospital with a new Covid-19 died. The man, named Ismail Mohammed Abdulwahab, was confirmed to have a new Covid-19's diagnosis on April 27, a day after he was admitted to King's College Hospital, and reportedly died three days later.  In particular, he added to the shock as he was known to be a healthy child with no underlying disease. "The child was being treated in isolation at the time of his death, so the parents were unable to stand by him even at the last minute," Euronews said.  Belgium's health authorities earlier said a 12-year-old girl died of a new Covid-19 on April 30. The girl reportedly suffered from a high fever for about three days and ...

"Korea was right."Why Mask Forbia Disappeared in America and Europe

Image
The U.S. and Europe, which had avoided wearing masks, have changed. A change in mood is detected as the WHO, which said that even ordinary people do not need to wear masks to prevent COVID-19, actively considers the effect of wearing masks. WHO Secretary-General Thewardros Adhanom Grubbersus said in a briefing on Monday that he is continuing to study evidence of the use of the mask and that discussions are underway on the effectiveness of the mask at the community level. The WHO's position has been that while the mask has not been effective in preventing viruses, it could be more dangerous to get infected by the virus as it often puts on a mask and puts hands on the face. However, it is believed that he changed his position as the spread of COVID-19 has become steeper. The president also expressed concern, saying that the number of deaths worldwide will exceed 50,000 within a few days. Already, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Israel and o...

Drone discovers 'Corona virus' patients

Image
Technology is being developed to detect suspected "covid-19" patients with drones. The strength of the drone's image algorithm is that it can identify health information of many people at the same time. Researchers at the University of South Australia recently said they have begun developing drones that can detect suspected Covid-19 patients in the air. Jabyan Chail, who leads the research, is working with Canadian drone company Dragonfly to develop a "pandemic drone." The drones they are developing are expected to be able to accurately measure the heart rate and whether people within 5 to 10 meters are breathing, coughing and sneezing as they fly through the air. "We can also measure the health information of people 50 meters away," said Chaile. "We can't monitor every case, but it will be a useful tool for identifying Covid-19 virus infections in a crowded place."
