LG Electronics has confirmed the brand name of its mass premium smartphone, which will be released next month, as LG VELVET. LG Electronics will apply a separate brand that reflects the characteristics of its products instead of alphabet names such as the V series and the G series. On Wednesday, LG Electronics unveiled the name and logo of its new flagship smartphone called "LG Velvet." LG Velvet is the next smartphone of LG Electronics, featuring a water drop camera and a bent left and right hand design. LG Electronics chose "Velvet" as its product name to highlight its soft, flexible and smooth features and comfort when held in hand.
