"U.S. Corona virus Control requires at least six weeks of curfew."

Coronavirus infection (Covid-19) is spreading around the world and appears to be quiet on March 25 (local time) at West Village, Manhattan, New York.

To control Covid-19 in the U.S., the curfew will have to last for more than six weeks, U.S. researchers said.
Citing a research paper published in a scientific journal this week, the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong reported on Thursday that countries that have adopted aggressive intervention called "no going out" may lower the incidence rate in about three weeks, control the spread in one month and block it in 45 days.
The researchers, the authors of the paper, defined aggressive intervention as containment, curfew, mass checkups and isolation. Less aggressive intervention can take much longer to get to the blockade.
"If there is no vaccine, treatment, or mass check-ups and quarantine, containment and curfew orders will have to last for months," the researchers explained.
Researchers are Gerard Tellis of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. The conclusion was drawn from a study of 36 countries and 50 states by Ashcy Sead of the University of California's Riverside School of Business and Nitish Seed, a student of cell molecular biology at Augusta State University.
They said they support strict containment in Italy and California, large-scale inspections and quarantine in South Korea and Singapore, or blockade and inspections and quarantine in China.
"South Korea and Singapore have chosen large-scale inspections and quarantine measures," he said. "This seems to be the only successful alternative to costly containment and curfews."
