LG Dios Objet Collection Mood-Up Refrigerator Advertising Received a Good Advertising Award
LG Electronics announced yesterday that their TV commercial for the LG Dios Objet Collection Mood Up refrigerator has won the "Good Advertisement Award" in the TV category at the 31st Consumer Choice Awards.
The Mood Up refrigerator ad effectively showcases the refrigerator's key innovation, which is the ability to change the door color via the LG ThinQ app, allowing users to adjust the fridge to their desired mood and play music. The LG Dios Objet Collection Mood Up refrigerator demonstrated in the ad can change the door color with a simple touch on the app without the need for physical panel replacement. For the top fridge and bottom freezer, there are approximately 190,000 color combinations available to choose from, giving users the advantage of changing the color freely according to their mood every day.
In addition, the refrigerator also features a theme curation function that allows users to apply customized themes in advance for easy space creation. Moreover, it is equipped with a Bluetooth speaker that can play music, which together with the color door, enhances the ambiance of the kitchen.
The "Good Advertisement Award" is jointly sponsored by the Korea Advertisers Association and the Consumer Federation of Korea, and is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Consumers directly participate in selecting good advertisements, and last year's advertisement works were selected in a total of five categories, including TV, digital, print, OOH video, and audio.
This year, a total of 42 ads won the "Good Advertisement Award," and 12 winning TV ads were selected. According to an LG Electronics official, "As consumers directly participate in selecting good advertisements, winning the 'Good Advertisement Award' for the Mood Up and Kimchi refrigerators TV ad is even more meaningful. We will continue to strive to communicate LG's distinctive technological capabilities to our customers. Please pay more attention to the Mood Up and Kimchi refrigerators, which allow you to change the atmosphere you want with just a touch."
