Galaxy A21s is likely to be released in the second quarter of this year

Samsung Electronics' "Galaxy A21s," which is likely to be released in the second quarter of this year, has been unveiled. It features Samsung's new application processor Exynos 850 that has yet to be announced.

According to Samsung Electronics on the 15th, the Galaxy A21s is equipped with the Exynos 850 with an octa core processor and a maximum frequency of 2.0GHz (Gigahertz). It is a follow-up to the low-end smartphone "Galaxy A21."
The price is estimated to be around 200,000 won, which is cheaper, but the camera's performance is compliant. The L-shaped rear camera, which looks the same as the Galaxy A51, has a 48-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 2-megapixel macros, and 2-megapixel deep quad-cameras. The front camera is located on the upper left side of the device with a 13-megapixel camera with a punch hole design.

Galaxy A21, a LTE-only phone, has a 6.5-inch HD+ front display and a 5,000mAh battery capacity. Its operating system is Android 10. It supports 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and will be equipped with Samsung Pay.
However, since it is a low-cost phone, it is predicted that fingerprint recognition sensors will be located on the back of products rather than on-screen ones. RAM is 3GB (Gigabyte) and storage capacity is 32GB and 64GB. It is expected to start launching in some European countries at the end of May. It is highly likely that it will not be released in Korea.

Samsung Electronics has recently been working on its low-end lineup to cope with consumer sentiment that has declined due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Although Samsung Electronics is introducing new products one after another, it is changing its strategy to release new products in different countries.

Samsung's share of the global smartphone market remained at the top of the list at 20 percent in the first quarter of this year, but as its sales reportedly fell 18 percent on-year, the company plans to make up for it by strengthening its lineup of A and M series, which are highly accessible to consumers.
