Samsung's two-door water purifier refrigerator
Samsung Electronics Co. released a refrigerator equipped with a water purifier on Friday.
Samsung Electronics introduced a new product that is easy to manage by placing a water purifier connected to the capital inside the refrigerator and allows users to conveniently use clean water and ice without opening the refrigerator door.
Samsung's two-door water purifier refrigerator has been developed for consumers who want to use the water purifier at home but feel that kitchen space is small or filter management is inconvenient.
The water purifier mounted in the refrigerator consists of three filters. It has four-stage water purification systems inside, including Sediment, Pre-Carbon, Ultra Filtration, and Carbon. It removes foreign substances and odors contained in tap water as well as heavy metals and bacteria. The filter has obtained safety and performance certification from the International Sanitation Foundation (NSF), which has been officially designated by the World Health Organization as an experimental institute for drinking water and water purifiers. It is the only water purifier refrigerator sold in Korea that has received NSF certification.

It allows consumers to manage filters easily without periodic visit management.
