The number of patients with new coronavirus infections in the U.S. surpassed 270,000 last night. One confirmed case in New York alone, the largest spread in the U.S. of Covid-19, surpassed 100,000. In just one day, the number of confirmed people in China, the epicenter of the Covid-19, surpassed 82,509.
This means that a quarter of the 1.095 million confirmed Covid-19 patients worldwide are infected in the U.S. With 30,000 confirmed cases overnight, the U.S. is slipping into an uncontrollable Corona panic.
Johns Hopkins University on Thursday put the number of confirmed U.S. Covid-19 at 275,586, based on 8:02 p.m. Eastern Time. The death toll was tallied at 7,406, surpassing the 7,000 mark. The number increased by 30,000 from the previous day.
In New York, the largest spread of the disease, more than 100,000 patients were reported.
