According to industry sources on the 10th, South Korean online retailers are preparing to sell Galaxy Tab S6 lights and are expected to be released after the middle of this month. A support page for the Galaxy Tab S6 was also opened on Samsung Electronics' German website.

Galaxy Tab S6 Light is a flagship line-up S series, but it will be released at mid- and low-priced tablets by lowering specifications. It has a 10.4-inch LCD display instead of an AMOLED display, and will be equipped with Exynos 9611 chipsets that apply to the Galaxy A51 or Galaxy M30S.

The strength of the Galaxy Tab S6 light is its competitive price. The Galaxy Tab S6 (128GB) was released at around 731dollar, but the Galaxy Tab S6 light is priced at 406dollar.
It has higher specifications than Galaxy Tab A series and also supports S Pen. Cameras are 8 million pixels in the rear and 5 million pixels in the front. It has 4GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity. Its battery is 7,040 mAh, the same as the Galaxy Tab S6.

It is expected to be released as a 5G model in South Korea. Product specifications uploaded by some online sellers, although before the launch, also say they are 5G models. However, there is a possibility that it will only be released as LTE and Wi-Fi models in Europe and other foreign countries.

"There is a possibility that Samsung Electronics will release the Galaxy Tab S6 Light later than expected due to the new coronavirus infection (COVID19) in the smartphone industry," said SamMobile, an IT media outlet.
