Apple's first mid- to low-end iPhone follow-up in four years is called the 2020 iPhone SE, not the iPhone 9 or the iPhone SE 2.

On Monday, Apple revealed the name of the iPhone SE, calling Bellkin's 4.7-inch iPhone liquid crystal film product "for iPhone SE/8/7." It confirmed that the mid- to low-end iPhones are 4.7 inches, the same as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. Currently, the name iPhone SE is deleted from the post.

Nine to Five Mac also reported earlier that the new name for the iPhone will be "iPhone SE." Unlike predictions that it will be iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9 as it is a product that inherits the iPhone SE released in 2016, it was named the 2020 iPhone SE.

The 2020 iPhone SE is expected to come in three colors, white, black and red. The storage capacity will be divided into 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models. There is news that the 5.5-inch version of iPhone SE will also be released, but not much information has been released on the model.
The iPhone SE is expected to come in a similar design to the iPhone 8, which supports touch ID in the same 4.7-inch display as its predecessor. It is likely to have 3GB RAM, 12 million pixels camera and the same A13 processor as iPhone 11. Car key functions and Apple Pay Express cards, which were not supported for iPhone 8, will be applied.

Foreign media have been predicting that Apple will unveil the iPhone 9 on the 15th and sell it on the 22nd, but there are also hints that the schedule will be moved forward by more than 10 days. Prior to iPhone SE's release, it started to make cases and protective film and deliver them to retailers and others. Best Buy employees have received instructions to sell the new iPhone SE case since July 5.

However, even if Apple releases its new iPhone SE product as soon as possible, it will take at least a month for it to be officially.
