Harman, wireless earphones 'AKG N400'

Harman Korea announced on the 17th that "N400," an active noise cancelling (ANC) complete wireless earphone released by AKG, a premium audio brand of Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, was sold out about a week after preorders began.

According to Harman, some open markets temporarily saw a surge in orders, leading to early sales.

The N400 is AKG's first full wireless earphone. It is part of the premium product line 'N' series. The biggest feature of the product is the ANC function. ANC minimizes tone changes as well as its original function of suppressing noise.

In addition, the N400 has an AKG reference sound that minimizes distortion and implements sound quality close to the original sound. AKG Reference Sound has won Grammy, the most prestigious award in the U.S. record industry, and EISA, which is awarded by the European Film and Sound Association.

Through the AKG headphone app, users can also adjust the degree of noise blocking themselves, and provide natural and comfortable noise cancelling functions depending on the listening environment.

"As a brand specializing in sound, AKG is the core of the product to allow anyone who uses the product to experience amazing sound quality," a Harman official said. "We will repay consumers by preparing more diverse and good products starting with the N400."

Meanwhile,  Samsung.com, the official N400 seller, is holding an event for customers who purchase it.
