Galaxy Z-flip, better than a Razr...
Samsung Electronics' foldable phone, Galaxy Z Flip, is said to be superior to Motorola's foldable phone Razr.
Global market research firm Strategy Analytics (SA) made this analysis by comparing the two products through a UXS (User Experience Strategy Service) report.
"Galaxy Z-flip offers a better overall experience than Razr," said Chris Schreyer, director of Syndicate Research. "Galaxy Z-flip offers a much better camera experience and a bigger internal display with its superior design and improved display resolution, camera, battery and processor specifications."
However, Samsung Electronics chose external displays as a disappointing part. "The Galaxy Z-flip lacks display capability compared to the Razr," he said. "When folded in half, the external display is smaller than the Razr."
The Galaxy Z-flip is equipped with a 1.1-inch display on the outside to check simple notifications and time even when the phone is folded. The Motorola Razr is equipped with an external display that is 2.7, which is more than twice as large.
SA also pointed out that prices should be lowered further to popularize foldable phones.
Kevin Nolan, vice president of SA UXIP, said the price of the Clamshell foldable phone, which folds up and down, was much lower than the initial foldable phone that folds left and right, but that more people must lower the price to adopt the foldable phone.
