Samsung Electronics is going to release its low-end Galaxy Tab S6 Light this month.
Samsung Electronics unveiled the Galaxy Tab S6 Light through its global newsroom on Thursday. The model is a low-end model of the Galaxy Tab S6, which was released in August last year. Supports newly updated S Pen.
The S Pen weighs 7.03 grams and is light and easy to use. The tip of the S-pen is 0.7mm, enabling precise writing. S Pen does not need to be charged separately. "With S Pen and Samsung Note, we can immediately convert handwritten notes into text," Samsung Electronics said. It can expand important parts to 300 percent, and all notes it records can be made into image files such as PDF files or JPEG files or Microsoft Word files.
Tap S6 Light has 4GB RAM on the Android 10 operating system. Storage capacity will be released in two types, 64 and 128GB. If a microSD card is installed, it can be increased up to 1TB (terabyte).
It reduced bezel on a 10.4-inch display to make users feel bigger on the screen. It has one camera on each front and back. It has 8 million pixels for the rear camera and 5 million pixels for the front camera. Its battery capacity is 7,040 mAh.
It has also strengthened its sound function. It is equipped with dual speakers with the sound of "AKG," a premium audio specialty brand, and Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound. Samsung has also formed partnerships with music streaming companies "Spotify" and YouTube. Tap S6 Light users can watch YouTube videos without advertisements, and enjoy YouTube music and kids content at YouTube premium for four months.
It has three colors: Oxford Gray, Angora Blue and Chiffon Pink. The price is expected to be around 415dollar. Samsung Electronics has now started preorders for Tap S6 Light in Europe. It is scheduled to be released in South Korea this month.
