Samsung Electronics' new wireless earphone 'Galaxy Buds Bean (tentative name)"
The design of a new wireless earphone being developed by Samsung Electronics has been leaked. The Galaxy Buds Bean, a design that reminds people of beans, is expected to be released in the second half of this year.
According to Germany's IT media, WinFuture, on the 4th (local time), Samsung Electronics is in the final stage of developing a new wireless earphone and is currently conducting an engineering verification test. The product's code name is "Bean." The model has been designated as SM-R180 and reflects the meaning that it is a follow-up to the Galaxy Buzz+ (SM-R175). There is a possibility that it will be released with the Galaxy Note 20 in August.
The Galaxy Buds Bean features a design that resembles a bean. It is 2.8cm long and the lower part goes into the ear and the upper part fills the upper part of the ear. The Galaxy Buds has the effect of blocking outside noise instead of going inside the ear with an in-ear design, but if you wear it for a long time, it can cause discomfort due to pressure. To ease this inconvenience, the company is expected to release the product in an open-type format instead of in-ear, but since it is open-type, there is a disadvantage that there is more noise around it when listening to music.
The Galaxy Buds Bean is said to be equipped with two small-loud speakers to improve sound quality. Multiple microphones are built in so you can hear phone calls and sounds around you. It is not known whether active noise cancelling will be available like Apple's AirPod Pro. Previously, there were rumors that the Galaxy Buds+, which was released by Samsung Electronics in February, would be equipped with active noise cancelling, but it was not included. Information on battery specifications and others was also not known.
