Canon has launched the mirrorless camera EOS M200
Canon has launched the mirrorless camera "EOS M200" with light and slim design in Korea.
The EOS M200 is compact in one hand and is easily portable at 299 grams. It is a follow-up to the EOS M100, which is loved by women for its small and pretty design, and has improved performance and convenience features.
The EOS M200 is equipped with a 24.1 million pixel APS-C type CMOS sensor and an image processing engine called Digic 8 to realize high-resolution images. Commercial sensitivity ISO 100-25600 allows high-sensitivity shooting even in dark environments, and is equipped with dual pixel CMOS AF for quick and smooth live view shooting. It supports eye detection AF, which recognizes and automatically focuses on the eyes of a moving person, and can take up to 6.1 consecutive photos per second.
It is the first EOS camera line-up to support 'serial image storage' function. Images taken with cameras vertically can be played in a smart device in a vertical direction without any longer. High-definition video can be uploaded to SNS at an optimized rate. It supports high-resolution imaging of 4K 24p and can extract high-resolution still images from 4K images. It is also equipped with the 4K Time Labs video mode.
LCD touch screens, which can be turned over 180 degrees, support selfie-only mode. It can utilize various effects such as creative assist, pretty skin effects and creative filters. It can easily send photos and videos by connecting them to smart devices through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Body colors for the EOS M200 are available in two colors: white and black. Facecover will also be released in seven colors. Among the dedicated face covers, the cotton candy pink color was added with the release of the EOS M200. The EOS M200 is priced at 685,000 won based on EF-M 15-45mm lens kit.
In commemoration of the launch of the new EOS M200, Canon will hold an event until June 7 to present free gifts after purchasing the product and completing the registration of the product. Gifts offer a choice of genuine battery LP-E12, exclusive face cover and Joseph & Stacy knitback S (limited edition mint-to-tone color). Participation in the event is until June 15th in Korea.
